From literary bestsellers to the latest gadgets, there is no denying that the internet makes it far easier to compare the price of shoping. But some retailers claim the shift is now towards the high street, and buying locally is the message behind Small Business Saturday.

Croydon residents can now get alcohol instantly delivered to their front door

A Warlingham restaurant owner has created an app which will allow people in Croydon to have alcohol delivered to their front door. The brain behind the idea, 35-year-old Asad Khan, is a former Wallington County Grammar School pupil who has owned India Dining, on The Green, in Warlingham, since 2003.
